Gauri suggests to Kartar that they allow at least Kshitij to meet Balwant because Balwant hates women. Kshitij meets Balwant, and Balwant embraces him for daring to meet him in spite of being beaten. He talks to Kshitij and eventually asks him to get out but Saraswati and her sisters turn up in his office. Saraswati pleads with Balwant to return the factory to them. A defiant Jhanvi asserts that the factory belongs to them, so Balwant shows them the documents. Balwant refuses to heed the pleas of Saraswati or her sisters. He warns them not to ever set their sight on the factory. Kshitij and the others return home and think about how to tackle Balwant. Just then Savitri informs them that they were planning a warm welcome for Niyati and her baby the next day. Saraswati and her sisters give Kshitij their jewellery to get money for the ceremony. Niyati and her baby are welcomed the next morning. Menka wishes that Yuvraj was also present. After the function, Saraswati suggests to Kshitij and her sisters that they lodge a complaint with the police against Balwant for illicitly snatching their factory from them.
