Beer Can Chicken Barbecue by the BBQ Pit Boys

The BBQ Pit Boys show you how to barbecue up two tender and juicy 4lb. chickens on the grill, Beer Can Chicken Style. And, it’s real easy to do. All you need for this barbecue chicken recipe favorite is two cans of beer (or water if you must), salad oil dressing, 1 onion, salt, pepper, and any favorite basting sauce, such as our garlic butter with soy sauce. Fire up your grill to 325-350f, and in as little as 2 hours you will be dancing right along with the roasters, as their tender and juicy meat falls off the bones. 5. I love watching you guys but I can’t believe I seen you using lighter fluid on your charcoal! We call these drunk chickens and I still remember the first one I ever did! Good stuff right there!

  6. I can see this done with a turkey but with a tall can! nice ideas guys, last I tried to do beer can chicken it fell over and the beer got all over the oven.

  7. How do you keep your charcoal going for two hours?
There ar lots of cheep crap briquettes on the market that wont get you 2hours, buy good quality briquettes and you’ll get around 3hours of heat.
    Cheers:)

  9. ROFLOL…thanks for the “legend” comment, but that should be reserved for long after we’re dead and gone, no? …get yourself a quality grill, nearly airtight, with bottom and top air vents to control airflow and anyone can easily get a few hours of “low and slow” out of a chimney full of “quality” briquettes..! -BBQ Pit Boys

  10. These guys are legends. How do they keep the charcoal going for two hours? I can never keep charcoal going after an hour without refilling it with additional briquettes.
