How To Get A Girlfriend

euronews reporter – Crisis-hit Europe is losing its talented youth

www.euronews.com This is Enric’s last Christmas at home. The twenty-nine year old is a highly qualified architect, but as a freelancer he simply can’t afford the cost of living in his home-town of Barcelona. So he has decided to try his luck in Latin America. Enric is heading for Argentina. Like him, tens of thousands of young Spaniards, Greeks, Portuguese and Irish are fleeing their crisis-ridden countries. Emigration from Europe is on the rise. “The feeling I have right now is a bit strange because I’m leaving behind my city, my family, the people I love, my friends,” says Enric. “But I also feel really positive, despite a sense of vertigo. Thankfully, I’m still sleeping well at night, I’m not having any nightmares, but I think I probably don’t quite realise what’s to come…” It’s time to say goodbye. Enric takes a last look at the Mediterranean. His mother helps him pack his beloved Catalan independence flag which he is taking with him across the Atlantic. Enric and his girlfriend are heading to Cordoba, in central Argentina. It is a one-way ticket, with 180 kilos of luggage, including Enric’s favourite books on art and architecture. Our next stop is in Kilrush, a small coastal town in the south of Ireland, with a long history of emigration. Twenty-one year old Mary is one of five. Her youngest brother Joe, who’s three, helps his sister pack her bags. He will grow up without her because Mary is heading to Australia, following in the footsteps of her oldest brother

  1. This is not only what you export, do you really know how many companies have money in southern Europe, including investmen? Also, you can check out how many german companies are in Spain, one of the bigger companies selling media in Spain is Media markt (this is not a direct export but give benefits back to a german company), kitchens, cars, washing machine. Germany deserves that because you have the best industry, but people have to have money to buy. Trust me I know what i’m talking about.

  2. I’m really worried about the situation. Of course you aren’t guilty but when I read about the word PIG my blood boil. Europe was originally for being together and i think we aren’t together. And the north think that the south are guilty and it is unfair. Anyway we can think in a different way but it have been a pleasure talk to you.

  3. … when you heard at all time that you don’t work, Germany is the best example bla bla bla, I don’t have anything bad about German people, actually i think there are two different things the population of a country and Angela Merkel. But austerity, cuts and grow aren’t compatible. And my people are suffering, Greece people are dying, my neighbour( look up the news about Córdoba, Spain) killed himself. And only because your banks wants to get back their money quickly without any kind of plan

  4. “give me an example”: I’ll give you: said by Jürgen Kaiser: London 1953 (example of a good protocol) Germany asked about help. USA helped with the plan Marshall and some european countries (22 countries) included GREECE canceled the half of the worth of the loans. This year after a terrible period of war, Germany could grow for their first year. That’s true, really. You can’t imagine that spanish people (we) are living, you really can’t imagine. Our politicians sucks, but it’s hard (follow)…

  5. “has forgottonen when all the countries from Europe canceled the most part of the debts”-That was USA and not “Europe” (Unless you want to give me an example, where an European country actually did so). And even the USA did so in order to strengthen economic recovery and prevent the rise of Communism. They did the same for Greece, taking over from the British. And at no point did I say that the Spanish PEOPLE are pigs, but I said that the Spanish STATE is a part of the PIIGS countries.

  6. “that your country has invested by inflating a bubble in Spain”-A) How about you show me some numbers (Like who invested how much). B) And yes the “German” INVESTORS tottaly invested into Spain in order to mess the country up and not to earn money for themselves (Which they lost after the collapse of the bubble) (Sarcasm). And please Germany didn’t invest a dyme, if someone invested then those were private individuals and not the German state like you are implying.

  7. What about the money that your country has invested by inflating a bubble in Spain, I coud study history and Germany has forgottonen when all the countries from Europe canceled the most part of the debts that Germany had after what your country did I clearly know that all the citizen in Germany aren’t nazis of course (that is like say that in Spain everybody are fascist too) but your people has forgotten that. Me and my people are pigs but your mentality sucks.

  8. “This is so racist,”-Yeah cause the PIIGS countries are a part of the same race…(Sarcasm). “If we stop buying your products because we don’t have money, you’re going to be the next “-Please check the macroeconomic data before you make up this kind of statements. The PIIGS countries make up perhaps 8-9% of all German Export (5.7% of which is Italy). So it clearly wouldn’t be half of a problem you are trying to present it as.

  9. “You clearly don’t represente Europe”-I never claimed so, all I said is that the PIIGS countries don’t represent Europe as a whole.

“the hard workers and best citizen”-Nah Germany is not even in the top 20 considering that (Greece is nr. 1 per the last research made). But I guess being hard-working is not really a precondition to a health economy. But tax evasion (Widely practised in Greece for example) is a whole different story.

  10. “richest than ever in your tumultuous history thanks sinking mine”-So you are saying that Germany became rich as a consequence of existence of the Spanish state? Ridiculous…

“to your president”-I think you mean the Kanzler, the position of the president is pretty much powerless. And by the way your country had constant economic difficulties throughout history, even at the time where Germany didn’t even exist and now you are blaming it on Germany? Come on, study history or economy.
