The one who disliked it must be a man being scared of women :-)
Yes… I agree, wonderful things can happen when we stand together.
Peace + love + Happiness oxo…
I am a sponsor of a sister in the DRC. WFWI should be the framework for all NPOs that work overseas. In addition, to this day UN “peacekeepers” – who are sent to protect the most vulnerable populations – continue to rape women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo and all throughout worn torn nations where they are stationed. Something needs to be done! These women and children have suffered enough. The UN is composed of a bunch of schmuck who need to reassess their priorities.

When women stand together for peace, wonderful things happen. We can change the world, one woman at a time. It’s time.
I work as a workshop leader in WWI in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I just wanted to thank all the sponsor sisters around the world for helping women in my country. Thank you so much! I wish there were more sponsor sisters, because Bosnia and Herzegovina need them. I am sure that Congo and other countries need them too, so thank you for every women in the world that you’ve sponsored!
We are proud supporters of Women for Women International. This is real Positive Change in action. Thank you for continuing this important work.
thnx for posting this video..an important message..awareness can help begin healing and bring hope to those who need it most..those born with a lesser advantage than a lot of others in the world. they need us, we all need each other.
we all have to help, we cant just act like there is gonna be someone else who will do it, because if everyone did that, nothing will happen nor change
Uneccesarily sarcastic. It is for sure not cathartic re-living the horror as you work on trying to capture it…and anything that marks the event can only be good. What do YOU DO then ??? Just mock ? Don’t bother to answer. I not interested.
I am working on a tryptic at the moment, a painting…called RAPED. JUSDGED. STONED. It is a very painful work to do in memory of the poor Somali 13 year old girl who was stoned to death some weeks back. I only hope I do it well enough.
OK…but she would not NEED MY AID if her own Rulers,,,Warlords/Chieftans/Whatever.. were disposed . That is MY point. Shaft them out of it …and let women and their off-spring…BREATHE. And SPEAK their wisdom.
But thank you for replying to me…good dialoque is…good 11
To me, this is a worthwhile cause becaise it empowers women to get back on their feet and gain direction and independance
The way to help women gain independance from tyrants is through Providing education and small business loans. Not only does this help her and her children, but the whole community.Xyzllii I don’t understand your backward reasoning at all.
Whilst a part of me feels it is great that women support each other in this way, I would hold back from contributing , because until women gain more positions of power in the running of world in a real way, we are only aiding and abetting tyrants and atrocity by giving charity.
We women must learn to take power into our own hands, and I will support any moves in that direction.
