I didn’t say he was a better singer, I said I liked his version of this song better. Is it okay to have that opinion? There are a million covers of this song and I’m sure each of them are somebody’s favorite. Ever think I may enjoy the males perspective more because I’m a man? Not sure what Riders in the Storm has to do with anything. You’re probably thinking of Jim Morrison another guy you should study alongside Van Morrison before you play Internet music critique.
Van Morrison? Are you kidding? Nina Simone is the best singer in the world, TO ME. R.I.P. No one does ANY song better than Nina Simone, TO ME. Simone ALWAYS make the song better–TO ME. Morrison isn’t even on my radar. Rider on the Storm is okay. This song in particular is like a surgeon cutting out cancer when Nina sings it. Morrison is just singing, Nina is curing cancer.
The more is stupidity the preserve of comments like yours!! It then attracts the trolling dumbs towner on a trip city side for the they can tripping while handsomely slipping a hand to the crotch of a watch that is ticking time to the tune of some fucked up lyricist sucking helium from a balloon hoping the bang makes cumming a pleasure to be done at great leisure, stroke and my ego will rise to the occasion of your surprise at reading literary porn where no semen will be borne aloft softly !!
The song was actually written by Bob Dylan with almost every cover being better than the original. Ninas is good, I’m a fan, but the best imo is Van Morrisons (live pacific high studios version). Check it out if you havent.
“Just like a woman” to dissect whatever comes down the trail. Sure did go over dudes lineup @bill_fischer Bill Fischer is a Professor at IMD; Co-director of IMD/MIT-Sloan Driving Strategic Innovation program. Co-author of The Idea Hunter and Virtuoso Teams. Not worth worrying about. And yeah, you can only please some of the people some of the time. Besides that, how boring would life be if everyone liked all of the same things? You like it — awesome! You don’t — ok then! 🙂

Are you trying to be different by making fun of the grammar of a youtube comment?
ppl who like Nina have a taste for Nina. she’s like wine. You have to have a palet for blues at its hardest mixed with jazz and classical.
Nina Simone’s music is timeless. I’m only 19 years old and I really love her music.
Sweet, national athem for grown women–Nina knew what was happening.
