Wow… have you been hiding under a rock for the past decade!?! Keira Knightley has done some amazing films. Films other actors (some of them A listers) would die to do! Not many actors can actually earn a living by doing such amazing films as she does. And she does films she wants to do, not because she has to for the sake of money. Besides that, she’s just a great actress, period.
I think she do well. It’s going to be hard though not to see her as Alice from Luther.
Benedict Cumberbatch (hope i spelled that right) is awesome as Sherlock Holmes, way better than the American version, and Tom Hiddleston (again, probly wrong spelling) was the best Loki I could imagine- believable as a “sincere brother” and even more believable as a trickster pretending to be a loyal brother.
Hopefully Ruth Wilson will work in this movie- keeping in mind that the original Ranger never had a real love interest (correct me if I’m wrong please)

I might point out ‘Little-Miss-Britishy-Ingrate-Knightly’ managed to get an Academy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in “Pride & Prejudice” sans any Bruckheimer assistance, I’m guessing…and she REALLY rocked that green dress in ‘Atonement’, just sayin.

i always think oscars are overrated, awards that actually mean something are those that are voted by the people who actually watch the movies.
She isn’t a terrible actress but she isn’t good either. Then again Natalie Portman cheated her way to an Oscar so awards aren’t really a measure of ability….
i felt the same way about kiera. she was doing all these old time period films thinking she was all little miss oscar. i think her head was a little too far up in the sky when she chose such films. and shes not done much recently thats had any buzz about it.

I really don’t think Kierra Knightly is on her way down. She has been in a lot of awesome films and maybe she isn’t your favorite actress but she is a fantastic british actress.
Keira Knightley has been in a lot of awesome films of in the last few years ever since her return to the UK, so I don’t know what fuck you’re taking about. A Dangerous Method, Atonment, Never Let Me Go… She also gets to work on a lot more projects. Just because a British Actress make a Hollywood debut doesn’t want to do Hollywood Movies all the time. Have you even watch any movies lately? Most of them are shit. (This summer has been pretty awesome though)

The difference between Johnny Depp in Ed Wood and Knightley in King Arthur is that despite it’s failure in the Box Office, Ed Wood was a great movie, featuring Depp’s best performance and King Arthur was a flaming pile of crap with Knightley playing “The Girl”. So yeah, there is that…..
