Simi is in her own thoughts when Abhi tells her that he has planned a surprise for her. Simi calls up Rajinder, but he does not reveal about the tax issue, though he tells her about Anuj losing his job. Simi tells him that she saw Anuj at the jewellery shop. Anita creates a scene on finding that her bangles are missing. Rajinder insults Anuj for trying to help using a wrong method and compares him with Simi. Anuj is hurt and Anita instigates him even more against Rajinder. In anger, Anuj calls Rajiv Bhalla over and shocks everyone. Anuj even brings a bottle of liquor for Rajiv.
